I am a passionate and versatile professional with over 7 years of experience across biomedical research, international business development, and academic counselling. I hold a Master’s degree in Biomedical Genetics from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), and I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking schizophrenia genomics research in collaboration with institutions like the University of Queensland and the Department of Biotechnology, India. My work has been published in leading journals including JAMA Psychiatry and the International Journal of Immunogenetics.
Over the years, I’ve successfully transitioned from scientific research to roles in business development and education, where I’ve led international conferences, managed high-performing teams, and built strong B2B relationships within the healthcare and academic sectors. These experiences have sharpened my leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
Currently, I work as a freelance Admission Partner and Career Counselor with the Indian School for Modern Languages, helping students navigate foreign language learning and explore international education opportunities. I’m fluent in English, French, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. I enjoy combining my scientific background, cultural understanding, and people skills to guide others in their learning and career journeys. Hi, myself Rama Ramesh, I approached Cognicareer for my son, We were explained about the whole process in the pre-counselling session. my son took the assessment with lot of hesitation, but he enjoyed answering questions which were very much interesting.
